Sawyer's 6 months old and going on 2!

6 months. 6 MONTHS! How has Sawyer already been with us for half a year? He is half way out of babyhood and that just about crushes my heart.

At the pediatrician's office for 6 month checkup.

I thought babies were supposed to be babies for awhile.  But Sawyer has impressed all of us with his determination to grow big (literally) like his brother!

Proof Sawyer was once little! 

This boy has brought so much joy into our home. Sawyer is quick to smile and loves his brother! He doesn't know it yet,  but he is pretty dang loved by three of us. When I snuggle him he feels like home to me. There is so much peace in my heart when I look at his beautiful brown eyes and full smile. Being his, and Finn's, mom is the greatest accomplishment I could have ever hoped for.

Enough mushy stuff! Let's see what Sawyer has accomplished!
Sawyer fast facts/milestones;
● 22 lbs and 12 oz
● 28.5" long/tall
He has mastered ~
● smiling, laughing, rolling
● wiggling from place to place
● making cooing sounds and /d/, /m/ and /o/ (like ah).
● prop sitting, until he slumps over after a few minutes or wiggles too much.

We celebrated Sawyer's 6 months with us by hi on h on a family hike aeound Silver Lake, up Big Cottonwood Canyon. It was absolutely beautiful and made me realize that we need to get up into the mountains more as a family. Finn had so much fun running on the trail telling us to "hurry up guys; be careful."
