The Boys' Birthday Bash

We celebrated the boys' birthdays on April 1st at Storybrook Play Cafe. Combining their birthdays this year was such a brilliant plan because, let's be honest, planning two parties a month a part from each other would have been crazy this year! Having the party together allowed us to go a bit over the top and the boys loved every minute of it.

Mr. Blue Eyes

It's hard to think that my babies are no longer babies, but complete toddler and kid. Finn (who will be 4 on April 20th) is looking more and more grown up each day. He loves all things Transformers, being outside, making noise (which Keaton and I are hoping is just a phase), learning new things, and playing with anyone who will play with him (mainly mom as a transformer that "doesn't know him"!).

Sawyer and his love of chocolate!

Sawyer has completely entered toddlerhood and everything it means to be a little body that feels everything, understands most things, and can hardly contain all that it means to be 2. Sawyer is our silly guy, always looking to make everyone laugh. From his "uhhh,,,,byyyeee" to his monster sneaky walk, he is as happy as they come! But hands down, his happy place is driving. Driving Dad's car, Papa's truck, anything that has a steering wheel and a set of keys. We hear "I drive!" almost daily. It is completely adorable (but also mind numbing when you are the one relegated to the back seat while Sawyer is "driving").

We are pretty lucky to have such wonderful boys. Brothers that love each other. Ones that think it is super cool to share their birthday party. Brothers that look for each other in the morning when they wake up (that may be more Sawyer trying to find Finn than the other way around). Brothers that love to tackle each other, play trucks together, and chase one another. We love these two and could not have hoped for anything more than our family of four.
