Week 1 done and done!

The first week has come and gone and I have had a little taste of what this year has in store! My students, all 22 6-year-olds, are shining lights in my life that have differing needs, unique personalities, and some with more challenges than others. Last year, although there were rough patches and one particularly trying student, I was lucky enough to have had a wonderful class that really gelled together and enjoyed learning as much as I enjoy it. This year, I may be exercising more patience, taking deeper breaths, and looking for the silver lining in certain situations.

But I am determined (so far) to stay positive, creative, loving and enthusiastic! Here's to the beginning of another great year!
