Fall Fun & Daddy's Birthday

Keaton has been home this week on fall break and we have been so happy to see more of him than usual! Although he still has assignments and work,  he has been around more for quick trips to the park and picnic dinners at Red Bute Gardens. Here are some of the highlights from our week!

Birthday dinner. Best buddies! 

We celebrated Keaton's birthday by getting his favorite Mexican food and having a picnic at Red Butte.  This would have been such a perfect plan had they not changed their hours.  Sadly, we only were there for 30 mins.

Earlier in the day, the boys and I met up with some friends at Thanksgiving Point to go through Cornbelly's  (a fall festival ) . Normally this is so much fun,  but it was insanely busy - and so was Finn. Having such an independent kiddo can be anxiety inducing for this momma! While Finn loved having fun and running wild, I was a nervous wreck! But at least he had fun,  right?!

Finn would NOT leave this wooden firetruck playhouse. Looks like dad needs to get to work building one!
